About Us

Outdoor is a mere job for some, but for others it is a passion. If you find yourself scrounging for time to go away for fishing, hunting, hiking, etc, you are probably in the right place.

This blog outdoorsity.net has been created to let the love of outdoor unite anyone and everyone who loves this sport and has a true passion for it, yet want to learn more about it or contribute to our and everyone else’s knowledge of outdoor.

About Soutdoors

OUR MISSION

There are certain specific areas we hope to tackle through this blog and hope to increase both our knowledge on the matter as well as the reader’s. The starters section will deal with all things regarding outdoor that a beginner needs to know. Whether its questions about the kind of equipment to buy, the right season and places to fish, hunt in, the basic techniques when starting fish, hunt and even how to cook the fish, the deer, …, all topics will be covered so no query goes unanswered.

Next we deal with different product reviews that help you make informed decisions about the equipment that you should buy, and which you should simply stay away from as well as keeping your money safe from. With so many products saturating the market, it can get a bit confusing even for expert outdoorsmen to decide which product is ideal. So, whether you are an expert or a novice, these reviews intend to help you make an informed decision.

Once you have your equipment picked out, you need some form of information or tutorials on how to use or set them up. Understandably, you may not need to know how to use a fishing pole, but installing a fish finder can prove to be quite a cumbersome and confusing task. We guide you through step by step instructions on how to install and use such equipment, through both blog posts and supplementary videos that give you a better hang of things.

All in all, this blog is your one stop shop for everything outdoor related. Whether you want to know the latest news in the world of fishing, hunting, survival, camping, kayaking, … or you are just getting into and you want to learn the basics; we’ve got it all and continue to actively add more as new products launch into the market and as the latest news hits the shores. Stay tuned to this spot to stay updated about all things outdoor!

Louis McCarthy – Writer

I’m Louis McCarthy, and I’ve been fishing for over 40 years. I’ve lived in some of the best fishing locations across the United States and have a passion for reeling in the big ones.

Over the years, I’ve honed my skills and techniques, and I consider myself an expert in the sport. I love nothing more than being out on the water, feeling the rush of excitement when I hook a big fish. Sharing my knowledge and experience with others is also a great joy for me.

Whether it’s teaching someone to cast their first line or swapping fishing stories with fellow enthusiasts, I’m always eager to share my love of the sport. You’re welcome to get in touch with me and stay updated by following me on Twitter and Facebook.

Hello. My name is Chris Noal and I am the Campy Dad. I am a part-time Respiratory Therapist and a full-time stay-at-home Dad.

I have a great, wild family and I am so lucky to have them. I have always enjoyed the outdoors.

I love camping, fishing and just being outside. I also enjoy writing, so blogging seemed like a good fit for me.

Chris Noal

For the last three decades I have hunted, fished, and hiked all over the Eastern United States and as much of the West as I could. During that time, I have hunted most every game animal in North America with a rifle, bow, or both.

Eric Patton – Writer

I love the outdoors and spend much of my time there either as a visitor or as a member of Search and Rescue. I teach outdoors skills, land navigation, and first aid classes as I can and spend much of the rest of my time writing about the outdoors.

There was a time I competed extensively in all shooting disciplines but I lost the desire to compete at higher level competitions but I do still compete in smaller shooting competitions in various disciplines including archery, handgun, rifle, and trap shooting. I have shot Glock Shooting Sports Competitions and USPSA as much as I could.

I have been a concealed carry license holder for almost 20 years now and carry on a daily basis. I have carried a variety of firearms in more holsters than I care to count. I may not be an expert on the subject but I hold my own in the local gun store debates.

I can often be found wondering the woods of Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania Virginia and West Virginia. Sometimes I am hunting and sometimes I am just there to get away from the drag of daily life.

I am a professional cartographer by trade and currently work in that field along with my writing work. Stay connected by joining me on Twitter!
